PMBC Tablets contain Anastrozole, a non-steroidal aromatase inhibitor used in the treatment of hormone receptor-positive breast cancer in postmenopausal women. It works by reducing the production of estrogen in the body, depriving certain breast cancer cells of the hormone they need to grow and spread.

Anastrozole is widely prescribed as a first-line therapy for advanced or metastatic breast cancer and as adjuvant therapy to help prevent recurrence after initial cancer treatment.
